About David

I practiced law since 1985.  I have been exclusively engaged in alternative dispute resolution since 2007.  I bring a broad background to my role as a mediator.  As an attorney I worked in a variety of environments and with a diverse client base.  I handled all varieties of family law issues, business transactions and disputes, real estate and probate cases.  I understand the dynamics of the commercial world and the personal dynamics of disputes that directly affect individuals.

I obtained my undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and my law degree from Seattle University.  I have professional mediation certification from the University of Washington School of Law and advanced training at the Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law.  I obtained collaborative mediation training from Collaborative Practice Northwest.
